cairo-region-create-rectangle (rect)

rect -- a cairo-rectangle-int-t structure

A newly allocated cairo-region-t instance. Free with the function cairo-region-destroy. This function always returns a valid pointer. If memory cannot be allocated, then a special error object is returned where all operations on the object do nothing. You can check for this with the function cairo-region-status.

Allocates a new region instance containing rect.
