gtk-text-view-cursor-visible (object)

Accessor of the cursor-visible slot of the gtk-text-view class.

The gtk-text-view-cursor-visible slot access function returns whether the insertion mark is visible. The (setf gtk-text-view-cursor-visible) slot access function toggles whether the insertion point is displayed.

A text buffer with no editable text probably should not have a visible cursor, so you may want to turn the cursor off.
