gtk-notebook-detach-tab (notebook child)

notebook -- a gtk-notebook widget
child -- a gtk-widget child

Removes the child page from the notebook.

This function is very similar to the gtk-container-remove function, but additionally informs the notebook that the removal is happening as part of a tab drag and drop operation, which should not be cancelled.
