The slot access function gtk-print-unix-dialog-print-settings gets the print settings that represents the current values in the print dialog. The slot access function (setf gtk-print-unix-dialog-print-settings) sets the print settings for the print dialog.

Typically, this is used to restore saved print settings from a previous print operation before the print dialog is shown.
