gtk-widget-queue-resize (widget)

widget -- a gtk-widget object

Flags a widget to have its size renegotiated. Should be called when a widget for some reason has a new size request. For example, when you change the text in a label, the gtk-label widget queues a resize to ensure there is enough space for the new text.

This function is only for use in widget implementations. You cannot call the gtk-widget-queue-resize function on a widget from inside its implementation of the size_allocate virtual method. Calls to the gtk-widget-queue-resize function from inside the size_allocate virtual method will be silently ignored.
